{"id":1777,"date":"2020-10-08T15:04:14","date_gmt":"2020-10-08T04:04:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.nunawadingbasketball.com.au\/?p=1777"},"modified":"2020-10-08T15:04:14","modified_gmt":"2020-10-08T04:04:14","slug":"representing-australia-was-unbelievable-says-whittle","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.nunawadingbasketball.com.au\/es\/representing-australia-was-unbelievable-says-whittle\/","title":{"rendered":"Representing Australia Was \u201cUnbelievable\u201d Says Whittle"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Australian 3\u00d73 player Marena Whittle has called representing the country an \u201cunbelievable\u201d achievement.<\/p>\n<p>Whittle has played in every NBL 3\u00d73 Pro Hustle event since its inception in 2018 and made her Australian debut at the 2019 FIBA 3\u00d73 World Cup Qualifiers.<\/p>\n<p>Playing alongside Bec Cole, Keely Froling and Alice Kunek, Whittle helped Australia qualify for the World Cup and says pulling on the green and gold for the first time is something she will never forget.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/Gk5-JWa_IdU\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was so great. It was just unbelievable,\u201d Whittle told <em>3x3Hustle Hype.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>\u201cEmotions were really high, and I had a couple of moments where I was like yeah, even though this is just a qualifying tournament or even though this is just one trip, so much work goes behind getting this jersey.
