\u201cNunawading Basketball\u201d established in 1963, runs competitions and programs for over 1,300 domestic and 45 representative teams (Nunawading Spectres) comprising 14,000+ registered participants. Nunawading Basketball provides junior and senior athletes with a sporting and social infrastructure to develop and promote personal, team and social skills in a sporting environment.<\/span><\/p>\n

Nunawading Basketball have a fantastic opportunity for an energetic, highly motivated and well organised individual to become an integral part of its team as the\u00a0General Manager – Leagues & Competitions<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Reporting to the CEO, this newly created role is responsible for managing the competition staff across the Junior Domestic, Senior Domestic, 3X3 and Inclusion leagues and competitions.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The role requires strong business and financial acumen and is responsible for the day-to-day financial administration of the organisation.<\/span><\/p>\n

The successful individual\u2019s professional standards must be impeccable to meet our organisations high expectations.<\/span><\/p>\n

Key Management Responsibilities Include:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Management oversight of staff responsible for domestic leagues and competitions including Junior Domestic, Senior Domestic, Inclusion and 3X3.<\/span><\/p>\n

Key Business Development Responsibilities Include:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Responsible for the continuous improvement of the Nunawading Basketball “product” delivered to the community including competition improvments, compliance and club development.<\/span><\/p>\n

Key Financial Responsibilities Include:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Responsibility for the day-to-day financial adminstration including:<\/span><\/p>\n
