{"id":2600,"date":"2022-03-07T13:55:51","date_gmt":"2022-03-07T02:55:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.nunawadingbasketball.com.au\/?p=2600"},"modified":"2022-03-07T15:33:09","modified_gmt":"2022-03-07T04:33:09","slug":"spectres-add-a-geer-for-2022","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.nunawadingbasketball.com.au\/ko\/spectres-add-a-geer-for-2022\/","title":{"rendered":"Spectres Add A Geer For 2022"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>MELBOURNE &#8211;<\/em> The Nunawading Spectres have signed guard Jordan Geer for the 2022 Coles Express NBL1 South season, the club announced today.<\/p>\n<p>Geer arrives at Nunawading having played for McKinnon in the Big V Championship division, where he was named the Cougars Most Valuable Player in 2021.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am super excited to be joining a first class organisation in the Nunawading Spectres for the upcoming NBL1 season,\u201d Geer said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI&#8217;m looking forward to contributing to a team that will be a genuine contender and can&#8217;t wait for the season to arrive.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Spectres Head Coach Andrew Cutler equally excited to be adding Geer to his roster, having followed his progression at Big V level.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Jordan is a player we have kept our eye on for some time and should add real depth to our backcourt rotation.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Joining confirmed signings Jack Gandolfo and Costas Hronopoulos, Geer provides the Spectres with strength at the guard position.<\/p>\n<p>The Spectres are scheduled to tip-off their 2022 Coles Express NBL1 South campaign at The Graveyard, Saturday 23 April against cross-town rivals, Eltham Wildcats.
