Basketball Victoria announced its U18 State Teams set to contest the 2024 National Championships in Brisbane this April, with Nunawading Basketball represented by five athletes in the U18 Vic Metro Women\u2019s squad.<\/p>\n
Jada Kennedy, Taia McMechan and Zoe Shanahan all earned selection, with Emilia Drmic and Teagan Potter named as emergencies in the squad.<\/p>\n
Grant Wallace, GM High Performance and Pathways said the regular calendar of play and preparation plus stellar performances at the East Coast Challenge and Country Cup has determined a high calibre group of athlete to be selected from.<\/p>\n
\u201cOur biggest strength is our culture and we have seen the success of our High-Performance Hubs as part of our State Development Program that has helped drive the standards and competitiveness to a new level. Our whole group is looking forward to the trip to Queensland in April,\u201d Wallace said.<\/p>\n
