Are you ready to take the next step in your basketball journey? Tryouts for the 2025\/26 Nunawading Spectres representative program officially tip off this October, and we\u2019re looking for athletes who are ready to rise to the challenge.<\/span><\/p>\n

This professionally designed tryout schedule provides players with the best opportunity to showcase their talent while allowing our coaching and selection staff to identify the next wave of Nunawading Spectres athletes ready to compete in the Victorian Junior Basketball League (VJBL).<\/span><\/p>\n

REGISTRATION

TRYOUT DATES & DRAFT SCHEDULE
\n<\/strong>In the lead-up to official tryouts, Nunawading Basketball will conduct Pre Tryout sessions designed specifically for domestic players who are not currently part of a representative program.<\/span><\/p>\n

These sessions provide a valuable opportunity for aspiring athletes to experience a representative-style training environment and be seen by our coaching staff ahead of the full tryout process.<\/span><\/p>\n

These age groups have traditionally seen a higher volume of tryout registrations.<\/strong>\u00a0By offering Pre Tryouts, we aim to ensure every athlete has the best chance to be fairly assessed and identified for their potential.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Following these Pre Tryout Sessions, no new to representative players will be granted registration to the official tryout process.\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Our Official Nunawading Spectres Tryout process is structured in\u00a0Five Stages, with the athlete pool narrowed at each step. Each Age Group will be scheduled on court once in each Stage.<\/span>
