style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><strong>MELBOURNE EAST BASKETBALL ASSOCIATION INC<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><strong>ALL JUNIOR AND SENIOR MATCHES MONDAY-SUNDAY<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Heat Rule to be implemented when a court temperature at a venue reaches 32 degrees.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><strong>The Competition Manager must be called prior to the supervisor making this decision.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Effective from the start of the first game through to the end of the last game the following timing rules will apply at ALL VENUES regardless of the temperature in those venues<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">4 x 8 minute quarters will be played<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">1 time out per team per quarter<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">The clock does not stop during these timeouts<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">1 minute break at quarter (\u00bc) and three quarter (\u00be ) time<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">2 minute break at half time<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, qu\u00e8<\/sup> quarter<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Games abandoned when the court temperature at that venue reaches 38 degrees. <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><strong>The Competitions Manager must be called prior to the supervisor making this decision.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">If a game is abandoned before it commences or before or at half time the match will be counted as a 2-2 draw.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">If a game is abandoned after half time, the match score stands as a final result.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><strong>NOTE:\u00a0 The Thermometer must be situated at the score table at all times for
