The current and evolving climate brought on by the Covid-19 pandemic has thrust significant change on the way we conduct our day-to-day life. Basketball is not immune to these changes, with programs and competitions suspended and\/or cancelled around the globe. These decisions have been made with the best intent to safeguard the health and wellbeing of our immediate and wider communities.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

In-line with advice received and the indefinite closure of indoors sports centres, Nunawading Basketball has made the decision to cancel the 2020 Nunawading Spectres Tournament. <\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The Nunawading Spectres Tournament presents as one of our key annual events and we would like to acknowledge the patience provided by the wider basketball community as we came to reach this decision. <\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Each year, over the Queen\u2019s Birthday Weekend (June) Nunawading Basketball welcomes upwards of 630 teams into our local and surrounding areas to participate in one of Australia\u2019s leading junior basketball tournaments. It is one of the key events on our annual calendar and we look forward to welcoming all players, coaches, officials and supporters back in the future.. <\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
