Nunawading, Victoria – The Nunawading Spectres are thrilled to confirm the re-signing of Nunawading Basketball junior Jack Gandolfo for the 2026 NBL1 South season.

A lead playmaker for the Spectres, Gandolfo averaged 12.82 points, 3.45 assists and 2 rebounds per game during the 2025 campaign, continuing to establish himself as a key piece of the backcourt.

His dedication to the Spectres program is reflected in his journey through the Nunawading pathway. Gandolfo began as a U12 double bottom-ager and progressed through the junior ranks to reach NBL1 level. Along the way, he collected two Big V Youth Championships (2018 & 2019) and was part of the Spectres’ 2019 NBL1 South Championship team.

Spectres Head Coach Andrew Cutler praised Gandolfo’s development and importance to the group.

“Jack is a terrific example of the Nunawading pathway in action. He’s progressed through our junior program with real commitment and has earned his place in our senior group through consistent hard work.”

“Continuity is incredibly important for us, and re-signing Jack provides that. He understands our system, our standards and the way we want to play. He’s become a key part of our backcourt and we’re excited to see him continue to grow within this group.”

Gandolfo’s re-signing ensures the Spectres retain both leadership and homegrown talent as they build toward the 2026 NBL1 South campaign.
