Registrations are officially open for the 2026 Nunawading Spectres Tournament, with entries now live as of 9:00am this morning.

The Nunawading Spectres Tournament will run across the Kings Birthday Weekend 6-8 June, 2026.

Following a record breaking 2025 event that welcomed 1,158 teams across a single action packed weekend, anticipation is high as programs from across Victoria, interstate and overseas prepare to secure their place in one of Australia’s premier junior basketball tournaments.

The annual tournament has become a cornerstone event on the junior basketball calendar, bringing together grassroots and elite pathway teams in a competitive, professionally delivered environment that reflects the scale and standards of Nunawading Basketball.

With interstate programs already confirming their intention to return, and international teams once again set to make the journey, demand for positions is expected to be strong across all age groups and divisions.

Nunawading Basketball General Manager Representative, Brand and Commercial, Paul Flynn, said the continued growth of the event reflects both the strength of junior basketball and the tournament’s reputation nationally.

“Each year we see increasing demand from programs wanting to be part of this event. The standard of competition, the professionalism of delivery and the overall tournament experience continue to elevate. We are proud of what this weekend represents for junior basketball.”

Clubs are encouraged to register early, with divisions historically filling quickly.

The 2026 Nunawading Spectres Tournament promises another outstanding weekend of high level competition, community engagement and basketball excellence.

Registrations are now open via the Nunawading Spectres Tournament page.
