Nunawading, Victoria<\/b> \u2013 The Nunawading Spectres are thrilled to welcome home Keeley Frawley, who returns to The Graveyard for the 2026 NBL1 South season.<\/span><\/p>\n

A product of the Spectres\u2019 pathway, from U18s through to NBL1, Frawley rejoins the club after collegiate stints at Portland and Santa Clara before carving out a strong role with Sandringham in the NBL1 South competition. Renowned as one of the league\u2019s most tenacious defenders and an increasingly dangerous perimeter threat, Frawley immediately strengthens Nunawading\u2019s roster profile.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cKeeley was a recruiting target for us out of college,\u201d said Spectres Head Coach Paul Flynn. \u201cWe pushed hard to bring her back straight out of college but couldn\u2019t quite get it done. To have her back now is a big positive for our program.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Flynn pointed to Frawley\u2019s defensive edge as a key component of the signing.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cShe has that defensive tenacity you can\u2019t coach, the type that sets the tone for an entire team. Keeley embraces physicality, she takes matchups personally, and she shifts the energy of the floor the moment she steps onto the court.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

He also praised the standard she brings with her daily approach.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cShe leads with energy and an uncompromising work ethic. Keeley elevates the standard for everyone around her because she refuses to take a possession off. That\u2019s exactly the type of presence we want influencing our group.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

As a reliable two-way contributor, Frawley\u2019s offensive versatility further complements the Spectres\u2019 evolving identity.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cShe can stretch the floor, knock down big shots, and rebound out of her position,\u201d Flynn added. \u201cShe\u2019s a strong two-way player whose versatility gives us balance at both ends.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Frawley will also reunite with former Vic Metro teammate Eliza Hollingsworth, adding familiarity and continuity to a Spectres side continuing to assemble a roster capable of contending in 2026.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
