A number of Nunawading Basketball Referee’s were recognized for their outstanding performances at the Basketball Victoria Technical Officials Commission (TOC) Awards Sunday afternoon.

Basketball Victoria’s Technical Officials Manager Bill Mildenhall said this year’s award winners have continued to increase the standards of officiating throughout the state.

“2019 was incredible for the amount of stellar achievements our referees, referee advisors and branches throughout Victoria have accomplished,” Mildenhall said. “Victoria is lucky to have a great mix of elite and grassroots referees and referee coaches throughout our sport who are conscientiously applying their craft each and every week.

“TOC would like to congratulate all the Award winners – our awards highlight the performances of our officials, associations and branches throughout the state and 2019 has showcased the extraordinary nature of our community.”
