Nunawading, Victoria – The Nunawading Spectres are thrilled to confirm that Andrew Cutler will continue as Head Coach of the NBL1 Men’s team for the 2026 season.
On the reappointment, Cutler said “I’m grateful for the opportunity to return and continue my work with the club for another season”.
“We’ve started laying the foundations for the 2026 season, and we know we’ll need to build steadily towards competing in a very strong NBL1 South. We are excited to face that challenge while continuing to give Nunawading pathway players the chance to step up and make an impact.”
Cutler’s 2025 campaign showcased how close the Spectres are to finals and that they can compete strongly against the best teams in the league.The season established a strong base for future growth as Cutler now focuses on building a stronger, deeper squad in 2026.
Having progressed from junior and senior player to Big V Youth coach and now NBL1 Men’s Head Coach since 2021, Cutler brings both experience and passion for the Spectres and the Nunawading Basketball pathway to the role. The Spectres are excited to see where his team can go in 2026.
