Melbourne United has announced the signing of Christian D’Angelo as a Development Player for NBL27.

Melbourne United have announced the signing of Nunawading Spectres star Christian D’Angelo as a Development Player for NBL27.

The 22-year-old guard has enjoyed an excellent start to his sixth NBL1 South season with the fourth-placed Spectres, averaging 20.5 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 1.5 steals per game.

Showing strong improvement every season so far, D’Angelo’s impressive development was recognised last year as he was named the 2025 NBL1 South Youth Player of the Year after averaging 19.4 points per game for the Spectres.

D’Angelo’s biggest performance of 2026 so far came against the Northern Force in Round 1, where he dropped 31 points for the game in a sign of what may be to come for Melbourne United fans in the future.
