Nunawading Basketball congratulates 15 Nunawading Spectres athletes on their selection into Basketball Victoria’s 2026/27 Metro Future Development Program (FDP).
The program brings together talented young basketballers from across metropolitan Victoria, providing an opportunity to further develop their skills, challenge themselves and learn alongside other emerging athletes.
Running from October 2026 through to August 2027, the Future Development Program supports athletes born in 2014 and 2015 as they take the next step in their basketball development.
Delivered by Basketball Victoria’s Pathways High Performance coaching team, the program builds upon the foundations established within association basketball, providing athletes with exposure to new coaching environments and opportunities to continue developing their game.
