Nunawading Basketball is deeply saddened by the passing of Hall of Fame Inductee, Ted Graham.
Ted’s legacy is woven into the very fabric of our association. A talented athlete from an early age, Ted represented Victoria from U12 through to U18, before pulling on the green and gold for Australia at just 18 years of age, competing at the 1970 World Championships.
He played in the first senior representative game hosted at Nunawading Basketball Centre, and played in Bulleen Spectres’ 1973 and 1974 VBA Championships.
Ted’s achievements on court were matched only by his enduring impact on those who had the privilege of playing alongside him. His passion for the game, competitive spirit, and love of Nunawading Basketball will be remembered by all who knew him.
A memorial service will be held at the Nunawading Basketball Centre on Friday 26 September from 10:30am–12:30pm.
