Nunawading, Victoria- NBL1 South Youth Player of the Year Christian D’Angelo has re-signed with the Nunawading Spectres for season 2026, the club is pleased to announce.
Adding to D’Angelo’s 2024 Spectres NBL1 Coaches Award, his 2025 season saw him take home the Spectres NBL1 MVP award in what was a breakout year, averaging 19.37 points, 4.26 rebounds and 1.68 assists.
Rewarded for his efforts, he earned a spot on the NBL1 South Select team in a preseason game against the Adelaide 36ers, and a training player position with the NBL’s Melbourne United side.
On the maiden signing for 2026, coach Andrew Cutler said, “We couldn’t be happier to welcome Christian back for another season. He’s a great example of development progression for young players, and we’re looking forward to continuing that progression with him this year.”
