Nunawading, Victoria –The Nunawading Spectres have re-signed Nunawading Basketball junior Dihan Wiggett for the 2026 NBL1 South season, the club confirmed today.

Wiggett returns following a successful offseason competing in the University Basketball League with Melbourne University. His performances at university level led to international 3×3 opportunities, representing his side at the FISU 3×3 Oceania Qualifiers in New Zealand and the FISU 3×3 Basketball World Cup in Brazil, where the team claimed bronze to finish as the third-best university team in the world.

The Spectres junior showed increased on-court presence in 2025, averaging 2.95 points, 1.43 rebounds and 1 assist per game across 13.22 minutes.

Spectres Head Coach Andrew Cutler said Wiggett’s development continues to trend in the right direction.

“Dihan has been progressing well through our senior program in recent seasons, and we’re excited to see that growth continue.”

“His ability as a perimeter defender is a valuable asset to the team and we are seeing signs that his offensive game is developing.”

Wiggett’s re-signing reinforces the Spectres’ commitment to developing homegrown talent as the club builds toward the 2026 NBL1 South season.
