Our Nunawading Spectres junior representative teams continue their preparations for the VJBL27 season with another round of practice games against the Kilsyth Cobras on Friday 30 October 2026.
Following our opening practice games against Camberwell and Sandringham, Friday provides another opportunity for athletes and coaches to build on their early work, develop team connections and continue implementing the principles established throughout the opening weeks of training.
Games will be played across two venues, with boys’ teams travelling to Kilsyth and girls’ teams playing at Nunawading.
Boys Practice Games | Kilsyth
Venue: Kilsyth Sports Centre
115 Liverpool Road, Kilsyth VIC 3137
Games commence from 6:40pm, with the final round scheduled for 9:40pm.
Please refer to the boys’ fixture below for individual team allocations, courts and starting times.
Girls Practice Games | Nunawading
Venue: Nunawading Basketball Centre
Games commence from 6:30pm, with the final round scheduled for 9:30pm.
Please refer to the girls’ fixture below for individual team allocations, courts and starting times.
Additional Boys Team Arrangements
As Kilsyth does not have corresponding teams available for every age group, the following arrangements have been made at Nunawading:
- B12.7 vs B12.8: Internal practice game, 6:30pm on NW4.
- B14.7: Training session, 6:30pm on NW5.
These arrangements ensure the affected teams can continue their preparations despite not having an opposition team available.
Important Information
All athletes and families are encouraged to check their allocated court and starting time carefully, noting that the boys’ and girls’ fixtures are being played at different venues.
We look forward to another competitive evening of basketball as our teams continue building towards the VJBL27 season.
