Swish & Sweat is a fitness class designed especially for women and mums in our community. The sessions combine basketball skills and drills with cardio and strength exercises, offering a fun and supportive way to stay active — no basketball experience needed!
To deliver this program, Nunawading Basketball have teamed up with Fernwood Fitness Mitcham, an all female gym that “champions women to exceed their own expectations and live without limits.”
Participants have praised the program, describing it as both inspiring and thoughtfully designed. “The instructor Christine is amazing, she is very motivating and in tune with women’s health, I definitely want to continue the sessions in the long term,” one attendee shared. Another added, “I can’t fault the program it is very well thought out and geared towards women’s health and fitness needs which is fantastic.”
The inclusive classes welcome all fitness levels, offering a supportive and energising environment led by women, for women.
