Located in East Burwood, Nunawading Basketball Centre has been at the centre of basketball in Melbourne’s east for generations.
From grassroots participation through to elite competition, the venue plays host to thousands of athletes, families and spectators every week and remains the long-standing home of the Nunawading Spectres.

Built Through Basketball
Since opening in 1970, Nunawading Basketball Centre has become one of Australia’s most recognised basketball venues.
Originally established through community fundraising and basketball-led advocacy, the venue has grown alongside the Melbourne East Basketball Association and the broader Nunawading Basketball community.
Today, the venue remains synonymous with basketball development, competition and community connection across Melbourne’s east.
