Nunawading, Victoria – The Nunawading Spectres have signed 6’3” forward Kylee Blacksen to fill their second import position for the 2026 NBL1 South Women’s season.

The 23-year-old American joins the Spectres off the back of a season with ZKK Zagreb in Croatia’s Premijer Liga, where she averaged 13.5 points, 5.2 rebounds and 1 assist per game. A 2025 graduate of West Virginia University’s NCAA Division I women’s basketball program, Blacksen averaged 6.1 points and 2.3 rebounds as a three-year starter.

Spectres Coach Paul Flynn said Blacksen’s profile was exactly what the club was targeting to round out its roster.

“We’re really excited to welcome Kylee to the program. She fills our final import spot and gives us a genuine stretch profile offensively, which was a key piece we were looking to add. Her length and athleticism allow her to impact the game at multiple levels, and she has the work ethic to match her physical tools. Kylee’s ability to space the floor while still competing defensively adds real balance to our group.”

Blacksen’s signing completes the Spectres’ import roster as the club continues to build toward a strong 2026 NBL1 South campaign.
