MELBOURNE – The Nunawading Spectres have re-signed forward Emma Pearce ahead of the NBL1 South 2023 season.
“You cannot overstate how important Emma was to helping our team succeed both on and off the floor last season,” Nunawading Basketball Operations Manager Paul Flynn said. “She’s a workhorse out there, whether that be in a practice environment or in-game. If you need something done, she’s the first to put her hand up and take on whatever role it is the team needs.”
Pearce appeared in 21-games for the Spectres in 2022 returning 8.1 points and 3.3 rebounds in just over 15 minutes per night, including a 27-point explosion against the Hobart Chargers on July 9 at The Graveyard.
The Spectres open their 2023 campaign at home on Sunday 2 April against the Mt Gambier Pioneers. Memberships are now available online via; https://am.intix.com/nunawading-basketball
